Comedy Clubs

After a long day of visiting all the sights Seattle has to offer, like the majestic Space Needle or the exotic Woodland Park Zoo, you might be in the market for some comedy. Seattle boasts some of Washington States best comedy clubs for adults and families alike. The following are two of the top Seattle comedy clubs that will have you laughing your socks off, well into the night.

Comedy Underground

Comedy Underground has been a staple of Pioneer Square since 1981, with one simple goal "To present talented acts who have something incisive to say in addition to always being hilarious" (Comedy Underground, n.d., para. 1). Comedy Underground is open seven nights a week with different events happening throughout the week. Are you looking at developing your material better, or looking to get into the limelight? Then look no further than Comedy Underground's open mic on Monday nights. Or maybe you are in the mood to catch some up-and-coming talent present their comedy material, you can do so every weekend. Comedy Underground also has a happy hour for those of you 21+ (Comedy Underground, n.d.)

Comedy Underground is located under Swannie’s Bar at 109 S Washington St, Seattle, WA (Comedy Underground, n.d.).

Jet City Improv

Jet City Improv was founded in 1992, "To educate, enlighten, and entertain audiences through the art of improvisation" (Jet City Improv, n.d., para. 2). Jet City Improv has their very own flagship show, where you, the audience member, dictate what the cast members must do. They also perform improv, making fun of traditionally scary movies, all with the help of the audience who dictates what they want the cast to do next (Jet City Improv, n.d.).
Jet City Improv is open every weekend for your comedy needs. They are sometimes open during the week depending on show schedule. I highly recommend checking out their website Jet City Improv for an up to date show schedule and prices for each show.

Jet City Improv is located at 5510 University Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105
